Liked: Very convenient location. The bed was extremely comfortable.
Disliked: Without the fan in the room, the warmth would have been unbearable. The stairs are very narrow and you'd struggle carrying luggage up there.

Fantastic Hotel

Liked: The refurbished rooms were fantastic. Very well thought through and everything you needed was there. Lovely linens and towels. Very comfortable beds and bonus of a Sharp fan, so much so that I ordered one when I got home. Thank you for your hospitality. See you again.

Liked: Guy in reception was friendly and helpful, room was hot due to weather, fan had been provided which helped a lot. Everything immaculately clean including the shower room, tea making facilities, etc. Thanks for a great stay, just the job for my purposes of meeting up with friends.
Disliked: TV reception not great (loose connections, surely an easy fix), but as I was there mainly to sleep this wasn't an issue.Bit of a youth gathering in the park outside could have been disruptive, however the noise was mainly cancelled out by the hum of the fan!

Liked: Location - near Kings X where I needed to be for an early train
Disliked: The 'room' was so small I couldn't do anything in a hurry. If I stretched out my arms I was close to touching the walls. It was like being in a cupboard.The bathroom door was so narrow that even I had to turn sideways to get in and out ...and I have never before had to stand in the shower to use the wash hand basin. There was nowhere to dry off towels so I put them on the huge radiator - far too big for the room size.The bed was narrow and took up half the room - a single bed.I had to keep asking for milk as they only provided one little sachet.The room was very hot and they provided a slim vertical fan which was next to useless. I couldn't have the window open at night as there was too much noise.I would never recommend this place and if I have the misfoprtune to have to stay over ion London again I'll go somewhere with real rooms!Staff didn't really care about anyone.The '3' is for the location.
