Howard Johnson by Wyndham Airport

First, the positive. The motel was very close to my destination and the staff was friendly. Now, the rest. Once I left the lobby, there seemed to be dirt on every floor. I had the feeling that even giving the carpeting a good shampooing would not remove the dirt. The room was more of the same. The room also had bugs. Over the last 30 years I've stayed in some pretty low grade motel rooms while going to concerts, bike races, adventure races, and the like. This place is the worst.

Liked: The staff was friendly and pleasant. The motel was less than a 2 minute walk from my destination.
Disliked: Although the lobby was presentable, the stairwells (I always take the stairs) were filthy. The guest room was filthy. There were bugs in the room.

I have no complaints. I was there only one night but everything was clean, neat, stocked, in working order and comfortable. The personnel were all courteous and helpful. One employee offered to help me with my baggage and another saw that I had made a wrong turn and immediately corrected me in the right direction. I have never stayed in a hotel that was totally soundproof so a few closing doors was not a problem.

It still had trash under the edge of the bed, After the concert went back to hotel and no room to park, went to go in hotel and ask where to park and wouldn't let us in. had to park in hotel next to ours and walk over then when my husband told them if our truck gets towed they are paying for tow fee. Manager told us to settle down.

Disliked: No parking

Liked: Nothing because the hotel was closed for renovations when I got there!
Disliked: Everything. Especially the lack of communication to me about the hotel not being open! Got confirmation the day of! I couldn’t reach anyone from the hotel, there was 800 # on the door for Wyndham, who took no responsibility for it because they also didn’t know that facility was not open. I tried contacting booking.com who I made the reservation through and have yet to hear back from. Beyond frustrated is an understatement!

Disliked: I didn't like the fact that the so-called breakfast really wasn't a real breakfast.

Liked: The bed was big and comfortable. They have Mtn. Dew. Nice staff.
Disliked: Breakfast was a little scant. The AC was either hot or cold. The graduation in between only worked sometimes. The room needed another chair to sit in.
