Liked: Rhe location was fantastic.
Disliked: There are cheeper hotels in Portland, but this one was in a great location. So it balanced out.

Vance is a beautiful hotel...

Liked: Great Location in the downtown, the room was very beautiful n modern and spacious.
Disliked: I didn't like the fact that the bathroom had no exhaust fan even for a room of 4, which was a bummer, also I would have liked a platform/table or something to keep my makeup and stuff in the bathroom while getting ready. Those were 2 main things. A microwave would have also been nice though but wasn't a dealbreaker for me.

Slick, modern AND disappointing.

Disliked: Stood in line for 15 minutes to check in at 10:30PM with the only desk person. Wanted hot bath... no bathtub. Television required a Geek squad, with QR scans, linkages etc. Called the desk... person they were sending up to resolved never showed. Ended up just reading.

Disliked: It would be good if they had a microwave in the room. The decor is a bit garish.Long black hair in the shower and I am bald so not mine.

I enjoyed my stay and...

Liked: The property was very pretty and clean! The staff were great, the location was absolutely amazing and most things in downtown were very walkable! The beds were comfy, and the view was gorgeous.
Disliked: The only thing I didn’t love about the property was the shower. The water pressure wasn’t the best and it got water all over the floor, and it would been nice to have some counter space. But other than that it was great.

Clean and comfortable with a...

Liked: Staff were very helpful and the rooms were clean organized and beautiful.
Disliked: We were right next to the elevators and a group of load people came up multiple times around 2am but that isn't really the fault of the hotel. Maybe the door could be more insulated from noise
