Liked: Perfect location in the heart of everything.
Disliked: Checking in, the clerk was on his phone texting for 5 minutes before acknowledging that we were standing in front of him.

Liked: Nothing - had a booking for Jun 29-July 1, was unable to stay there because their hot water went out the day we arrived and the water went out entirely on some floors. Also had some issue with fire alarms going off all day and night too apparently. The entire lobby was full of people requesting refunds and having to rebook last minute at other hotels. We also had to do this. They then promised a full refund that I have yet to receive because the hotel claims that Booking.com has to refund it to me. When I try to get in contact with Booking.com Customer Service, they tell me I have to get in contact with the hotel - now I am out $360, and in limbo between two incompetent entities that refuse to give me my money back. TL;DR - Hotel Shocard is terrible & their customer service is terrible. Don’t waste your money or time or get it stuck in purgatory like I did. ALSO— DONT USE BOOKING.COM ANYMORE EITHER or you run the risk of this happening to you. This will be my last time using this platform as well.
Disliked: Everything about the property/staff/handling of these issues I’ve listed is the worst experience I’ve had to date with a hotel or a booking platform. And now am scammed out of nearly $400. Learn from my mistakes people!!

Great Location @ Times Square,...

Liked: Location : I had chosen this hotel verifying the on google map. Its just bang in the Times Square. You come out of the property and in 10 steps you are in the Times Square. The location was great. I have never come across any such great location anywhere I have stayed. It was just in the Times Square but still calm and quite ( because we had a room not facing road – I preferred it )Room : Knowing that hotel rooms in cities like New York and Tokyo are smaller than what we are accustomed to in India, I was not very confident about room and its size. But the room had a full wardrobe and a sort of many storage locations near the wardrobe. Hence our luggage was taken care in it. We were comfortable in the room. Air-conditioning, room cleanliness was very good. As a policy Hotel does room cleaning every other day and towels are provided everyday. Breakfast : Since I do not like bakery items in the Breakfast, normally I avoid breakfast in the B&B type stay hotels. So, no experience of it.Recommendation : I will definitely recommend friends and family to stay there and will stay when I visit New York next

Liked: 1. Best location ever, near to evrething by walk2. Good and helpful staff3. The facility has bar and day gabe us free drinks for staying and some discount for breakfast
Disliked: 1. The room size was extrimly very small, like we have place for one bed for couple (queen or king) and our 2 big bags.2. Very expensive price3. Our window view was a wall of the building near by that was 1-2 metters from the windowI can understand the price because the location but not room size.
