One night stay

Liked: Nice restaurant / hotel in Vijlen. Position is great with big private parking in front of hotel.Small hotel (only a few rooms) above a nice restaurant (which I did not try unfortunately).My room (#4) was quite big with a big terrace with sun from morning till sunset.Room furniture is quite basic but everything is there. Bed is comfortable, even if two single beds next to each other instead of one queen bed. Bathroom is nice with big shower.Breakfast good with lots of salty and sweaty food, coffee on the contrary is of low quality and need improvement.Nice surroundings for walking, biking, and short driving to Limburg points of interest.
Disliked: Overall all good.Suggest bed table lights (missing, as only a single room light) and better coffee.No fridge / kettle or anything else in the room.

Great location to explore from

Liked: Very friendly staff who went out if their way to help- despite arriving after last orders for food we were asked if we had eaten. Dinner was excellent quality and local wine a surprise as extremely good. Good travel advice given to get around. Beds were comfortable and room very quiet despite hotel being full
Disliked: Entrance hall looked tired with carpet worn and stairs too bedrooms very steep with narrow treds, bedroom was a little utilitarian with 2 plastic chairs

Liked: Breakfast buffet was good. Everything you need for breakfast was there.
Disliked: Early closing of the bar. 22:00. Nothing else in the neighbourhood was open after 22:00.
