A really great place to...

Liked: Our room was a nice size and very comfortable. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was wonderful. Breakfast was also excellent. The staff was very friendly. They had a nice courtyard area to store our bicycles.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Friendly staff, excellent location.
Disliked: Door is closed till 17:00. You have to call them to check in.Can be a bit noisy (earplugs provided).

Lovely hotel but party downstairs...

Liked: Nice location in the center of lovely Ravenstein. Cute small room on the top floor.
Disliked: Our main complaint is that there was some party in the bar downstairs, which no one mentioned to us when we checked in. A crowded bar and music would have actually been no problem at all, but it was unnecessarily (and unreasonably) loud due to some guy screaming into a microphone all night, and the PA system was turned all the way up to 10. We walked by the bar on the way to our room and couldn’t believe anyone could be in there for 2 minutes let alone all night with that sound volume - absolutely deafening. You could hear it already on the street three blocks away (in winter, with doors/windows closed). So we heard it all in our room, 2 floors above, until they finally stopped around 11:30. If that is a regular thing I would certainly ask before booking this hotel! Many other reviews here complained, oddly, only about the church bells - we loved those and slept right thru them.

Enjoyed a wonderful hotel.

Liked: Stylish hotel in a picturesque fortified town located on the banks of the Maas. Spacious soundproof rooms with great comfort. A nice breakfast and delicious coffee. In the evening I enjoyed various regional products in the restaurant.
Disliked: I have no complaints about this accommodation.

Liked: Very cozy room finished with wooden beams. A comfortable bed and a fluffy, warm duvet. Nice and helpful hotel staff. hotel located in the heart of a charming small town.

Superb

Liked: Friendly welcoming staff who were helpful without being obtrusive. The bedroom was well appointed, relaxing and with a good view over the local area. The meals were excellent with a good selection of local beers.
Disliked: Parking instructions could be clearer but not problematic
