Liked: Hotel staff was professional; very prompt customer service; definitely an old time feel to this motel.
Disliked: The lighting in the room was very dim, giving the room a gloomy feel. I am one who likes things lit up.

We were updated to executive room for waiting. The bed seemed small. Did not like putting up a deposit for anything I might order. Close to Midland Theater - nice to walk there.
Liked: Couch; desk help was good. Beautiful place.
Disliked: 1 cup of coffee in the room. Door heard slamming in the hallways.

Booked this hotel because it was downtown, within walking distance of Power and Light District and Kansas City Music Hall. Great choice - you can definitely feel the history in the whole place. Beautiful architecture. It was a small room and bathroom but didn't spend much time in the room anyway and it was clean!
Liked: Very friendly, helpful staff.
Disliked: Small room and bathroom.

Expensive and no sheets....
Liked: Beautiful building and amazing details in the design and decor.
Disliked: Room was not turned over still had used soaps and towles in the bathroom i called the desk and asked for maid service and left shortly after and was gone for 5 hours came back to still not a clean room or sheets. I went down to the desk and asked again and 20 minutes later a young lady brought me two flat sheets.... mind you i have 2 queen beds 8 pillows and no blankets or towels. I went to the fitness center and took towles from there. For $140 a night i find this highly disappointing and i was really kind of disappointed in the way I was treated or ignored for that matter.

Liked: Very bad experience. The room was not clean. Full of dust under the bed, in the corners of the room, on the furniture.We have immediately informed the guy at the reception on Saturday September 5h at 5pm.The guy at the reception was rude and he said that it was not possible to clean the room, neither have another room.This is not acceptable, especially if we consider that cleaning is a key aspect when staying in a hotel during COVID-19 Pandemic.It is not the experience you expect from Hilton 4-stars hotel.

This hotel needs more support...
Liked: It was beautifully decorated lobby and original elevator.
Disliked: There was no help. Ever. I had a dog and a bike and bags and I had to take three trips up to my room and then find parking in the parking garage. Bar and restaurant were closed. No o e to help with bags. One person working along. Really odd and I was so tired from driving.
