Hotel Pension Baron am Schottentor

Great experience, amazing hotel!

Liked: Such a unique and exquisite hotel right next to one of the landmarks. Great view from the window.

Liked: this is not a hotel, but apartments, located 5 minutes walk from the metro station and 10 minutes from St. Stephen's Cathedral, very beautiful hall, spacious room, coffee machine. There is no restaurant or bar.
Disliked: If the windows overlook the street, be prepared for the constant movement of trams and the bar opposite, it will be noisy. They position themselves as a hotel, but this is not so, it is a pension with several rooms.

Clean, large room, great location

Liked: Perfect location, close to tram and underground stop. Large room and bathroom with bath and shower. Beds really comfortable.
Disliked: No tea/coffee making facilities - maybe that's usual for this country.

Very good

Liked: Great location, room very good and quiet, cleanliness beyond reproach, price good. Staff messaged me promptly when I lost my credit card in the hotel and they secured it.
Disliked: Check-in after 1900 not a pleasant experience. Staff could be more welcoming.

Hotel very disappointing.

Liked: The room was very dark and hot. The fan in the room was broken and the bedside lamp didn’t work. The key kept sticking in the door. The bathroom was very small and very dank and dismal. The chandelier over the bed was covered in dust. The bed was clean and comfortable. I would never stay at this property again.

Liked: I liked everything, i would have wanted a bit bigger room but it was fine.

Excellent location

Liked: Very confortable bed and very comfortable pillow/sheets, nice large room, very sunny with large windows,the room is sound proofed with two layers of window glass. We could sleep very well, the noise of the trams is very mild.Excellent location near restaurants, coffees, central Vienna, metro tstop is only 3 min walking in a nice area. Metro in Vienna is fantastic: clean, very frequent.Very helpful personnelVery good shower, hot water comes immediately
Disliked: The drinking porcellan cups given in the room are so small that it is not possible to drink a tea, it is only possible to drink an expresso coffee

Friendly staff and good quiet...

Liked: No smell, but in a room was a little stuffy but with open windows it was fresh.
