Great option in a centric...
Liked: Access to the metro or buses is very near. This is located within Las Ramblas, meaning there are a lot of restaurants and business options nearby. They were very accessible with the check-in time and with the luggage storage.
Disliked: The breakfast was included. However, there was no fruit, and the coffee and juice were very bad.

Satisfactory facilities for short time...
Liked: The provisions for breakfast were excellent. We got the best "café con leche" of our previous two weeks of traveling! The personnel was friendly and profesional.
Disliked: The room illumination was minimal at night, and the furniture could have been better distributed. The bathtub had a high sidewall to climb, and no safety hand rails. For old , and or obese people, it is an accident waiting to happen. Otherwise the facilities were adecuate.

Short stay in Barcelona
Liked: Location was excellent, close to Metro station and lots of restaurants in local area.Price paid was reasonable and included breakfast. Beds were comfortable and wi-fi worked well.
Disliked: Bathroom needed some work, shower curtain didn't reach tray so floor was wet after a shower. Bathroom also smelt damp, which drifted into the room. Breakfast didn't start until 8am, which is a bit late, better if started by 7am.

One night of no sleep...
Liked: The location is great and lots to see and do in easy walking distance. The shower was hot and with good pressure. However, they only provided two hand towels, no bath towels. The air conditioning worked well and was quiet.
Disliked: My room was shabby and the only window opened onto the central walkway and atrium. The frosted glass in the window was not fully in the frame, it was about 2/3rds of the way up with an opening at the top. There were very old shutters on the inside which was the only way to get some visual privacy but these did not lock shut, leaving the room essentially open to the public walkway all the way around the 3rd floor. People walking around the walkway on the fourth floor could see into the room from above. I certainly wouldn't have left any valuables in there if I'd been staying longer. The bathroom was very shabby and not terribly clean. The tiles around the shower had dirty grouting. The breakfast had minimal choice. The rolls didn't seem fresh and were quite hard. The meat and cheese was sitting out for some time and basic sliced bread was brought out well after breakfast opened. The man who checked me in was monosyllabic and not very welcoming or friendly.I was glad I was only there for one night but I didn't feel safe.
