Hotel Naval Sestao

Convenient comfortable hotel for both...

Liked: The bed was very comfy and the room was basic but a generous size. It was easy to get into the city using the nearby metro and it is close to the port and big supermarkets as well.
Disliked: There was no control over the heating/air conditioning - the room was hot but there was no way to cool it down (no fans provided) except to open the window which then let in lots of mosquitos. The room only had one small bin in the bathroom. The lighting in the bathroom was strange - great for the handbasins but quite dark in the shower.

Liked: The hotel and room was spotlessly clean. There was a comfy chair in the room as well as a nice padded dog mat for my little dog.
Disliked: The location. Was in an old shipyard and very derelict all around. No nice views.

Disliked: No food or bar facilities, closed down

Exceptional

Liked: Easy to park on the street nearby. Was convenient when arriving by car but nothing much around. 15 minutes drive into the city for everything you could need. Room was large, comfortable and clean. Shower had excellent water pressure. I liked the view over the working port but maybe this is not for everyone.
Disliked: Not very atmospheric but great for a night or two.
