Good location with friendly, helpful...
Liked: Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good, lots of choice. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a balcony room. Useful parking on site and could leave the car for a few hours in the car park even after we checked out so could make the most of our time before we had to travel home. Toiletries and hairdryer useful. 5 min walk to Metro.
Disliked: Towels didn't smell very fresh.

Mercure Hotel, can the customer...
Liked: Good commutable location. Breakfast looked nice though I didn't try any. Plenty of options around to have food. Hotel was nice to stay in.
Disliked: I have an issue with the 200 Euro deposit that is compulsory to pay to Hotel Mercure during checkin. This is not a small amount. It was more than double the amount I have paid for my stay at Mercure Hotel. The hotel collects this to secure their property against any damage caused by the customer else returns it back. But what about the customer who unnecessarily gets caught when the hotel doesn't refund back the money for over 3 - 4 weeks? To my innumerable requests they replied just a couple of times and then stopped giving me any answers.Every other day I have been requesting the hotel to cancel the amount from their end so that my bank gets a reversal indicator and I get my deposit back.Until booking.com interrupted recently, the hotel didnot respond to my messages. Based upon the response given by the hotel through booking.com, my bank took it as a confirmation and released the payment. Untill then the deposit was stuck in space. Neither with me nor with the bank. It is hard work to get your hard earned deposit back from Mercure Hotel. If I wouldn't have chased through all the receipts and documents that I submitted, I would have never got my refund.
