Liked: The Queen family room was large to comfortably fit a pack n play and bouncer with room to walk. The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: We rented the Queen family room through booking.com for $305 for 2 nights. Booking directly through Mead they wanted $440, yet their website boasts savings if you book directly through them. The pillows are not good, there’s mold in the shower, small tv, no dresser, food on the floor, we found a pad behind the nightstand, a jolly rancher under the flap of the couch, dust on our headboard, food in the microwave, the music in the hallway is so loud we could hear it clearly in our room, the windows allow for gusts of cold air, the heat turning on and the toilet flushing is so loud it woke my 8 month old several times. The continental breakfast is gross. To clarify the waffle mix makes the waffles come out dry, the hot bar isn’t hot enough because the food isn’t hot, the hashbrowns and sausage is bland, I swear they were serving decaf coffee as regular coffee. The fan in the bathroom was caked in dust. You often have to wait an unreasonable amount of time for someone at the front desk to show up. The outlets are so loose you can’t plug anything in unless you use something to push against the plug the whole time. The price to stay in a hotel as outdated, unclean and loud (heat and toilet in room and hallway music) as this one is, is absolutely ridiculous. I have never paid this much for a room and been so disappointed. Other than the space in the room, these rooms are worth low double digits, not their regularly priced 220/night from experiences I’ve had around Wisconsin, Colorado, Nevada, Florida etc.

Disliked: We were given the wrong room when we arrived, we fixed that and were put into a room that smelled awful. Like old stale cigarette odor in the carpets possibly! Breakfast consisted of donuts, bagels, old stale oatmeal (packages).. that was their complimentary breakfast! Oh as I’m making toast and had oatmeal in the microwave, it tripped the power.. We had to go get staff because no one around.. Just an old and outdated hotel.. I’m sure it was wonderful place to stay, once upon a time..
