Hôtel Marais Bastille

A well-managed, comfortable, moderately priced...

Liked: Location is ideal for getting about (close to Bastille Metro). Room was comfortable, there was a lift, homemade pastry at breakfast. Many nearby cafes & restaurants. Park across the street. Quiet.
Disliked: It is not a luxury hotel. It is a well-managed, comfortable, moderately priced hotel in central Paris. It more than meets expectations. I would stay there again.

Liked: Everything was excellent: the room, the location, the view from my room, the breakfast, the staff was very friendly. The hotel exceeded my expectations, I was very happy to stay in Marais Bastille. The metro station is just 3 minutes walk from the hotel (line 1, which passes throuhg most of the landmarks, such as Louvre, Place de la Concorde, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysessees), and Marais - about 15 minutes walk. I travelled at the end of June 2025 and the temperature in Paris was 29-32 0C, but the AC in the room worked very good and it was very comfortable. Bottled drinking water was replenished daily.
Disliked: There were no drawbacks

Liked: Breakfast had a lot of selection, which I appreciated. Staff were always helpful and friendly (and spoke multiple languages). Room was spacious for Paris. Great location--easy to get wherever I needed to go by bus or metro.

Liked: Good position easily accessible to restaurants metro and sights A market on the Sunday outside the hotel was a business The staff were very friendly Good breakfast Room lacked a view but had good air conditioning, comfy beds and lovely bedroom We spent little time in the hotel so the lack of a view was not an issue

Comfortable but dimly lit room.

Liked: Friendly staff, quiet room, comfy bed, shower, cucumber water and cookies in the lobby.
Disliked: Very poor light in the bedroom provided by only two dim bedside lamps.
