The stay was good in...

Liked: The location.
Disliked: the barman working night treating client very bad , so rude . I have never seen such behavior from the barman , even his colleague barmaid was surprised of his behavior .

Room not ready for check...

Liked: Nice rooms.. clean and totally good for purpose
Disliked: Emailed ahead to request the the possibility of early check in. No reply. Arrived at noon. Asked to return at 1500 not particularly friendly manner of check in desk. . Room not ready for check-in by 1530.. Hotel unable to offer an alternative room. So had to change in a toilet. So no chance to shower and prepare properly for the event after a day of traveling. We were in a rush to go to a restaurant booking and checked in at 1am. No follow up from hotel. Just poor management and administration. I've used IHG hotels for many years and just think this one doesn't quite measure up with customer services. Having said that the gentleman on the desk when we eventually checked in was friendly.

Liked: We had a quiet room. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good. Beds were comfortable ! Staff was friendly. The ladies at breakfast were efficient, quick and friendly.
Disliked: Nothing to say. All was good.

Liked: Spacious and modern room with large bathroom, modern shower appliances and upmarket soap and body lotion.Reception staff were extremely helpful but the staff serving breakfast less so. Disappointed with the food on offer for breakfast; only two cereals. congealed scrambled egg, and food displayed on hot plate was only lukewarm. It’s a shame there wasn’t more choice of bread. Only full cream and lactose-free milk available. And no orange marmalade!! We were really expecting more from an IHG hotel.Excellent evening meal served by a friendly waiter.Drinks served by pleasant bar staff.
