Hotel Gamma

Perfection.

Liked: Firstly I want to say that the reception desk is the best one out there. They are very kind, will help you with everything you need at any hour, probably the best reception desk we've ever seen.Secondly the rooms were very clean and big enough. The rooms were cleaned every day, and they made it to be cleaned exactly when you went for breakfast so you wouldn't be bothered by it.Third and not the least, the breakfast was excellent. You had a lot to eat from fruits to cereals, eggs, bacon, etc. Fresh orange juice or pinnaple , cappuccino, latte machiato, tea, everything you want.It's only 1 minute away from the metro station, which makes it literally perfect.Also, for smokers, they had a small place where you can smoke and take your coffee as smoking in Milano is forbidden.Also to mention that even if we had the check-in at 14:00 they gave us the room at 09:00 in the morning and that was great.
Disliked: Everything was perfect.

Disappointing

Liked: On the plus side, the location was solid (2 min walk to the Metro) and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast is good but lacks variety (however there’s a lot of fruit and sweets though).
Disliked: The area is noisy and the windows do not soundproof either street noise or the nearby train station. The room we stayed in had a leaky & clogged toilet which frequently overflowed (really big issue btw). Staff tried to fix it but problem just kept coming back. The hotel needs to be cleaner; breakfast area and carpets leave a lot of room for improvement.

Disliked: The shower in our first room didn’t work and the cubical was very small. The bathroom in both rooms we stayed in were out dated and not as shown on pictures.

Exceptional

Liked: The hotel is in a good location, metro and small supermarket is within 1-2 minutes by feet. The gentlemen at the reception were so kind and very helpful!

Good

Liked: Location, proximity to metro station. Easy check in and check out. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Very small shower space. Old aesthetics.

I loved everything.

Liked: Amazing location, comfortable bed, very friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast. I’m sure we’ll come back again.
