Very good
Liked: The hotel is in a good location, quite area and has all you need for a short stay in New York. Through, room is small and dated. For 4 persons, it is quite a challenge. But, all in one it was OK.
Disliked: room needs some upgrade.

No frills accommodation!
Liked: Good Location. Helpful friendly manager.Room was clean.
Disliked: This is basic accommodation .There is no tea/coffee supplied.There is no lift so you might end up dragging your bags up 3 flights of a very narrow staircase.

Pleasant as stuff is friendly.

Disliked: Cleanliness is low as I found ants and a lot of dust. Carpet smells as it has been probably never wet-cleaned. I was able to open door only partially. Safe was locked forever. Microwave oven did not work. Hotel is tired and needs investment. Photos are missleading.
