We had a wonderful stay. Room was great and the location to get to almost any tourist attraction is perfect. I always love to stay at this hotel.
Liked: Staff was very helpful with questions about how to get to places, where to eat etc. - had a great stay.

Great location with comfortable beds.
Liked: Location is convenient to Broadway, Time Square, and 5th Avenue. Restaurants and Bar were great. The beds are very comfortable. No noise despite all the action right out the door. I will stay here again.

Excellent rooms, very clean, and...
Liked: Hotel Edison is very close to everything. It is an easy walk to get to anywhere in Manhattan. It is right in the middle of Times Square and close to the theaters.
Disliked: Very small bathroom.

Liked: Great location clean and classy look the employee at check in was fantastic breakfast French toast was fantastic
Disliked: Not enough seating in lobby people had to sit on ground while waiting for rides to airport or room to be ready, there was plenty of room for seating just not enough seating

Disappointing
Liked: The location
Disliked: I would suggest they would need to update their property’s detail. I am type of customer who will always look up based on comments and details of the hotel. It’s all different from what i expected and i am a bit frustrated esp with their breakfast.The reason why i booked on this hotel it’s because most of their previous customers have high regards of their buffet breakfast but it was a frustration for me. On the first day of availing their breakfast, we thought it was buffet but it was just ala carte and the choice are few and what’s worst, you still have to pay additional considering that it should be all included for free. On the second day, we found put that they have another set which is a grab and go for free, but oh boy, it’s like lining up in the streets just to get the food. They open at 7am so if you came early, you have to go out and find the carve restaurant just to get the food. It is indeed inconvenient for us customers especially if we are up for time and hectic schedules. One last, our room is clean but it’s small compared to the ones shown in the picture when you are booking it.Overall, it was frustrating and i know there’s always room for improvement which is what they need to do. Quality Service and product produces quality and quantity customers. Thank you

Convenient but annoying
Liked: I liked how close the hotel was to all the hot spots in New York. I did not feel much need to use a taxi or subway; I walked instead.
Disliked: There was frequent construction outside the hotel. Consequently, it was quite noisy in our hotel room and it even prevented us from sleeping sometimes.

Misleading breakfast and extra charges...
Liked: The location of the hotel was fantastic. Staff was polite and helpful and even agreed to change our room, since we've been appointed a room on the 6th floor, which was not renovated, so they changed it to one on the 17th, renovated floor (since we stayed in NY for 14 days). The staff also gave us the vacum cleaner to vacum our luggage.
Disliked: First and foremost, the breakfast was a major disappointment. The photos on Booking.com showed a buffet-style breakfast served in a beautiful, spacious restaurant. In reality, breakfast was served in the basement, with no service staff and only three fixed options—none of which were suitable for guests with dairy-free, gluten-free, or sugar-free diets.If you wanted to eat in the upstairs restaurant shown in the pictures, you had to pay an extra $6.50 per person per day. This was never mentioned on Booking, and we consider this misleading, if not outright deceptive.The rooms also left much to be desired. The bathroom sink was clogged, the closets were dusty, and the windows were extremely dirty. Overall, the cleanliness and accuracy of the listing did not meet expectations.
