Good common spaces but rooms...

Liked: Good location, not too far away from the beach.Nice common spaces, including games room - a shame that the pool table (and accessories) and ping-pong accessories were not in good shape.The swimming pool was of good size but a bit warm for my liking.
Disliked: My room was boiling when I arrived and the radiator in the restroom would not turn off - had to call reception who needed to bring a tool to turn the rusty wheel. Needed to have the fan on most of the time, including at night.Room was outdated (in need of some maintenance) and in need of proper cleaning - clearly some areas have not been dusted for months (e.g. inside of wardrobe, restroom radiator, windows full of spider webs, etc.)Carpets in stair cases and halls stained and in need of some vacuuming.

Fab little hotel - great...

Liked: Good location close to town centre, nicely decorated rooms, clean and modern shower room. Convenient car parking on site. Swimming pool and games room. Great breakfast, large menu. The staff were outstanding - all friendly and clearly committed to providing good service for guests.
Disliked: Nothing! It’s a fab little hotel.

I thought it was great...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent. All staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Room was impressive and spotless. Shower in the room was suprrb; internet linked TV very impressive! Swimming pool was fantastic.
Disliked: Was surprised I had to pay extra to park. I anticipated having an early morning swim before breakfast so was disappointed that the pool didn't open until 10 am. As I was checking out at 11, the pool not opening til 10 doesn't give you much of a chance. I think a pre breakfast swim would appeal to many!

Superb

Liked: The location is fantastic. The road leads straight down to the beach. There's a lift to carry your suitcases upstairs. The staff is also quite helpful. There are many cafes a short walk away. We particularly liked Live on coffee and Blend on the hill. The market square is a 10 minute walk.
Disliked: It can get a bit warm in July but there's a table fan that's been provided.

Liked: the building itself is quite charmingthe location is pretty near to the beach and to town center
Disliked: Our room was on the 3rd floor (directly underneath the roof) which in combination with a few facts like an elevator that takes really AGES to do its job, a pretty hot (~25°C) week, a window with just one glas which keeps neither noise nor heat outside, and a not existing air condition made our nights pretty uncomfortable.Additionally there was dust practically everywhere and in general the whole building transported the feeling of not being maintained good enough since years.
