Relaxing stay

Liked: Nice hotel, lovey room, staff really good, clean in good location
Disliked: Spa is nice but a little on the small side

Fabulous but claustrophobic

Liked: Location excellent, staff really lovely, accommodated me and my dog to the best standard.
Disliked: The single rooms are VERY small, felt more like a cabin in a ship. Maybe I'm just used to renting Airbnbs as I don't use hotels often but I felt very claustrophobic. No fridge in the room.

Pleasant

Liked: Friendly staff, good location, comfortable bed.Breakfast food was good too.
Disliked: The swimming pool and jacuzzi were not heated water. In April I expected this to be so - one of the reasons of choosing this hotel was indoor swimming pool, which backfired for me.The shower in the room is very low pressure, it was not very relaxing and I have long thick hair, took me ages to wash my hair. During the shower it feels a bit cold from sparse water.In the swimming pool area there is no place to put your stuff. There is a changing room but no lockers or pegs or anything like that.

Excellent hotel regarding comfort, food...

Liked: very comfortable, newly refurbished hotel. Staff excellent, very friendly & helpful. Food was also excellent
Disliked: Lift was incredibly slow, however it became a joke with other guests so not a serious dislike

Very good

Liked: Staff were friendly. Sita who works behind the bar was particularly friendly. She got me a bowl of chips even after the kitchen had closed. That was very much appreciated. However, shout out to all the staff! I also enjoyed my massage by Eden Spa.
Disliked: The swimming pool and jacuzzi was a bit cold. My cozy double will be very hot on a hot summers day.

Liked: Has great pool and short walking distance to town and beach.
Disliked: Drinks tray very unclean , handed over spoon that had been unclean for so long it had corroded with sugar all over it . Parking price a little on the high side .

very good

Liked: the venue was right next to the beach and the hotel had an indoor pool and spa. it also had parking in the venue which meant we could leave the car there for the day and not have to park up by the beach.
Disliked: the breakfast could have been a little bit better, the croissants were very likely frozen and the maple pancakes could have been more elaborate. it was just a few pancakes and syrup there was no fresh fruit, only canned

Passable

Liked: Location was good. Very close to the beach and some local restaurants and shops. There were some good games to play with kids.
Disliked: Didn’t feel it as value for the money charged for the rooms. Room was too small and so was the bathroom. There were no toiletries like paste, moisturiser etc. like we get in other hotels. Reception also didn’t have it. No housekeeping or room cleaning was done in the 2 days I stayed there. Towels weren’t replaced. There was no fridge as well. No AC control so the room was really stuffy and hot and no ventilation made it worse. The lift was too slow and not working. There is no lift from the parking so had to carry a heavy suitcase all the way up. Pool didn’t have towels and wasn’t as clean as expected. Parking rate was mentioned as 10£ per day but I was charged 12.5£ and was told the rates increased from 1st April without any intimation and apology.
