Liked: We arrived well before our check-in time (scheduled for 2:00 PM) and inquired if the room might be ready earlier. We were told it wasn't ready but that they would call us when it was. At 1:58 PM, we received a call saying the room was ready—just two minutes before the check-in time.The hotel was run-down, with a bad smell throughout the interior. We didn’t stay for breakfast as we left without spending a single night (we had booked three). The photos on Booking.com are misleading, as everything is heavily edited, and they can't convey the unpleasant smell. The area around the hotel also felt unsafe.I find it difficult to understand the high ratings left by others. This hotel definitely does not deserve an 8 rating. We travel a lot and I would rate this hotel a 6 at best. However, since it was impossible to stay in the room due to the strong smell of cleaning chemicals, my rating is based on that.
Disliked: I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. Upon arrival, the room was filled with an overpowering chemical smell, possibly from chlorine, that made it impossible to stay comfortably. Both my child and I experienced headaches, dizziness, and nausea due to the intensity of the odor. Despite our efforts to ventilate the room, the smell did not dissipate, and we eventually had to check out just a few hours after arriving. The staff, after being informed about the problem, didn’t bother to come and check the situation in the room. The hotel's response was dismissive, and they refused to refund us for the unused nights, citing that the smell was from cleaning, not dirt. However, the room was far from clean—dust under the bed, a heavily dust-covered chair, and what seemed to be an insect nest near the ceiling.The staff dismissed our concern about the strong cleaning chemical smell in the room, responded to our complaints with ironic mockery, and formally stated that they would not issue a refund (despite our request for at least the upcoming two nights; as I mentioned, we had booked three), as the payment was made as non-refundable. Not wanting to risk my and my daughter's health, I booked a room at another hotel. As we were already checking out, they offered us another room as an alternative.Despite our checkout, we noticed on the Booking platform that we were not marked as checked out. It is clear that the hotel profited at our expense without providing the service.We did not stay even one night and had to find alternative accommodation. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience, especially for those who expect a clean environment.

Liked: It is really clean and comfortable. We haved a really good time.

Excellent

Liked: So we were in Hotel Clerice for 5 nights and everything was excellent. We had nice room with balcony and fridge also. Staff is very helpful, especially girls working in kitchen. Hotel is also near one beautiful beach with a lot of activities and we got discount with Hotel Clerice.Overall everything was really good and we would definitely come here back.
Disliked: Only one thing was a bit bad and it is power sockets in room. We had only 2 and one needed we for fridge 😭
