Rustic hotel, nice location

Liked: Everything is in walking distance, shared outside area with deckchairs etc
Disliked: Having the sink in the bedroom, not the bathroom, was a bit impractical at times.

Liked: 100 year old property with Victorian decor. I loved it. Not fancy but very comfortable
Disliked: Being disabled and unable to walk very far it was on a hill and I couldn’t walk down the hill to town but that’s not a problem for the establishment. I loved the hotel

Overall, very enjoyable

Liked: Old fashion charm, clean, and fairly quiet
Disliked: Needed to have coffee earlier, and why not have some more breakfast treats for guests?

Liked: Very clean. Staff was great. Good location.
Disliked: The heater did not work. The first night was cold. Next day they gave us a small heater that made a difference. Not enough electrical plugs. Had to slam the door to close. Was looking forward to hot tub. It was broken. No coffee maker in room.

Liked: Kind and accommodating staff, massage chair in lobby, small breakfast options, and comfortable stay
Disliked: The walls must be thin because we heard the people in the room above us and all people walking right outside our room. Also, the jacuzzi was not in service during our stay.

Great choice for bargain hunters.

Liked: Convenient location to everything on the main strip. Free coffee, teas, oatmeal, snack bars and a pancake making machine in the lobby each morning. Free use of a microwave for guests and my room had a small refrigerator. Basic accommodations, nothing fancy here but for the price it's a great choice. Historic old building and you can see the blue Hotel Catalina sign when you pull into dock. Short walk through tourist area to hotel. Nice communal balconies to lounge about during the day or morning time with your coffee.
