Beautiful hotel, great service

Liked: We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Casa 1800 Granada! Our rooms had an incredible view of the Alhambra — truly unforgettable. The breakfast was delicious, the service was excellent, and we were even welcomed with a bottle of cava in our room, which was a lovely and generous touch.During our stay, there was a major electricity outage across Spain, but the team at Casa 1800 was outstanding. They supported us every step of the way, even when we didn’t have cash due to the blackout. Their kindness and professionalism made all the difference.We highly, highly recommend this beautiful hotel for anyone visiting Granada. Just a tip: if you are coming by car, plan ahead — you’ll need to park in the town, and it’s important to carefully read the hotel’s instructions beforehand to avoid any confusion.Thank you, Casa 1800 Granada, for a truly memorable experience!

Lovely location with authentic feel!

Liked: Everything - was very charming, nicely appointed and with great character. The staff was helpful beyond words! We wanted to stay longer but the room was booked.
Disliked: Was a little hard to find.

A super lovely place but...

Liked: Beautifully designed and super breakfast!
Disliked: We have stayed twice and the same problem happened with far too hot rooms as the heating has no controls! This needs attention as I will not stay a third time if not gratified! The shower also flooded when we used it late at night and was in óbviense t so late at night.

Liked: Loved this hotel. Adorable room, amazing view, great shower, nice people.

Disappointed

Liked: The size of the bedroom and the bath. The staff was very polite and helpful.
Disliked: The breakfast was very poor, with little variety and a very small seating area that lacked enough tables. There was no water available, not even for making tea, and the service was very slow.As for our room, the view was disappointing. There was a wall directly in front of the balcony. Additionally, one of the two bathrobes was old and worn out. The hotel 4 stars is overrated.

Because of the Alhambra strict...

Liked: Staff was wonderful and hotel nice but it might need some little upgrades. I paid a premium price for my stay and was glad for the location but crowds for processions made exploring the surrounding city difficult. I visited Granada mostly to see the Alhambra but I had made a mistake on my tickets and was not permitted to enter. This was pretty disappointing. But I enjoyed visiting the Cathedral chapel. It was extremely beautiful and interesting but no guide information was provided in English. I would have learned more if guide materials in English were available.

Exceptional

Liked: Love the hotel, excellent location, attentive staff, very comfortable and well equipped rooms. Great to have tea and coffee making facilities. Love the high tea served at 4.30pm.
Disliked: The breakfast was fabulous (a little expensive ) just a shame that the hot food was quite cold.
