Good value for money,

Liked: Excellent welcome from Mohammed on reception who is a mine of information and charming with it ( speaks 5 languages!)The hotel is clean, smart. We didn't use the restaurant but the cafeteria next door was great for breakfast.
Disliked: It's a bit further from the centre of Palermo than I realised but we took a taxi and that was fine. Since discovered that a bus to centre stops right outside.

Disliked: It stank of cigarettes. The staff were surly. The restaurant was a dive. The suite was basic. If this is four star then I'm George Clooney

Liked: Parking was good, bathroom as we had asked
Disliked: When we arrived there was a group of children charging around reception and playing in the lifts. The room was as we asked, but we have been to 2 star hotels that offered tea/coffee making facilities in the room and a small bottle of water in the fridge. There was a wedding party which carried on until 3am which could be heard in the room, after this ended as I was getting to sleep the Fire alarm was set off, I woke my wife and prepared to go to the assembly point but the alarm stopped and peace returned- I managed around 2 hours sleep. Breakfast was nothing to write home about all in all, possily the worst ever hotel stay that we have experienced. Certainly won't be returning when we go back to Spain.
