Liked: This was one of worst experiences ever in booking a hotel in whole Europe.The hotel check-in is until 10 pm. I was expecting to arrive later than 10 pm. Before arrival, I called to ask if it is alright to do late check in, and they said it is fine but the key will be at the porter and I have to pay the city tax to the porter upon arrival. The city tax for my stay was 7,20€. I paid the room online, which was about 300€. When I called, they did not mention to me that they want the 7,20€ in cash in the middle of the night!!! When I arrived after midnight, the porter asked me to either pay the 7,20€ right away in cash. I did not have cash on me, so I said I will pay in the morning. The porter said to me he will not give me the key until I pay 7,20€. This CANNOT be done later!!I absolutely don’t understand why the hotel is having such a strategy? I had to go 2 hour walk to take cash because the ATM close to the hotel was not working. And remember it was like 12 in the mid night on a rainy say!!Why on earth would you think ai will not pay 7,20€ while I paid 300€ for my room? Can’t it be done in the morning like every other business with cart or cash?This is ABSOLUTELY insulting to the guests!!!! I would never come back, and I recommend everyone to stay away from this.

Disliked: There was a fruit salad at the breakfast only the first day, I would’ve liked to have this available every morning :)There was no cooler in the room so it was necessary to have the window open in the night, or else it was too warm in the room. But it was some noise outside (garbage truck) very early in the morning which made it hard to sleep since the only options were either being warm or hearing the truck. I recommend bringing earplugs! :)

Its Ok to stay one...

Liked: The location is good; it is right next to S-Bahn Dammtor, one stop from Hamburg HBF.
Disliked: WiFi is very weak. Not to be considered for work.
