Liked: Nice rooms, convenient location, great airport shuttle
Disliked: In general a great hotel, rooms are nice and large and the airport shuttle is really convenient. Just the rooms facing the car wash are extremely noisy, we did not really sleep well.

Perfect stay at perfect location

Liked: We loved everything about our stay. From the warm reception on arrival from friendly staff to the location and the free parking. The Columbus is within easy walking distance of Fisherman’s wharf, Chinatown and the street car museum.
Disliked: No complaints

Liked: Free tea/coffee and parking close to SFO.
Disliked: Traffic noise is extreme if facing main road. San Bruno downtown with lots of restaurants in walking distance.

The bed was comfortable

Liked: The common area on the first floor looks nice. The bed was comfy. The only lady doing housekeeping was lovely and helped me find my first room in the mad layout.
Disliked: The most disinterested man I've ever met checked me in, after quite a wait while he sat in his office chair, sent me to a dirty room. This was rectified after having to shout for attention as reception was empty. The room had dirty walls, stained towels, and the most random layout. A large small table plonked in the middle of the room with no chairs and a bed so high even i had to climb in, im 6ft. The tiny stinky pillows weren't great either. The shower tap is plumbed wrong, so you only get hot water if the tap in on a tiny bit, quite dangerous. The in room coffee and the machine to make it are terrible quality. Not all the lights worked nor did the extractor. The shuttle isn't on demand and isn't available 11-3, its the local service. Very disorganised place where the housekeeper came tapping at my door at 10am. Luckily I only had one night as I was flying out the next morning. I'd have asked to change rooms but I was told at check in my room was the last one.
