Charming basic hotell very close...

Liked: This is a cosy and very charming hotel with only 17 rooms in 3 floors.It is close to a main (quite noisy) road, but that did not bother us at all.But, there is nothing "happening" here, you only sleep and then explore London for the whole day.The personel is very responsive and reception are staffed 24/7. Overall, the hotel is good but basic.
Disliked: The continental breakfast is not for everyone. Mostly carbs as in toasted bread, serial, milk and fat-free youghurt.But, there is real butter and some cheese. I am missing some boilded eggs, but other than that it is a good start of the day.

Liked: It's a tiny hotel near Paddington Station and right next to Lancaster Gate underground station. Simple, small, delivers exactly what it promises.

Liked: Good Location overlooking Hyde Park. Taxis are easily accessed in front of the Hotel. My Single Room was small but had every amenity from an Ironing Board to a Large TV and en suite Shower room. Breakfast was included - self-service continental with lots of choice.

Superb

Liked: Other than bad wifi, location was incredible. Had early trains for out of town tours, so only used continental breakfast one day and it was good. Close to Lancaster Gate Tube, lots of great pubs and Hyde Park!
Disliked: Lack of WiFi connectivity

Liked: Excellent location, friendly efficient staff, small single room was fine for 1 person short stay.
