Perfect for one night for...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent. Owner and staff very good.

Liked: Amazing staff, really friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The toilet seat was loose and needed fixing. Glasses on tray for water were not clean or tray hadn't been cleaned between uses, causing the rim of glass to be tacky.The hotel is right beside an A-road, so there was the sound of cars going by through the night.

Liked: The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was good with plenty of things to do around the area.
Disliked: The noise from the main road outside the property was very loud, however it was not be helped.

A convenient place to stay...

Liked: Parking & location, okay shower.
Disliked: The corridor from the carpark to the room was very drab. It was a bit isolated by the busy A530 road so you couldn’t walk anywhere from the property, so had to drive. The noise from the main road was evident from 3 am. The head board on the bed was broken so it hit the wall when you moved in bed. The shower room was unnecessarily over sized, and very utilitarian.

Liked: The staff were brilliant. Very welcoming and helpful.The café attached to the lodgings is *fantastic* and worth a trip by itself.
Disliked: It was a bit too warm in the room. There's not real way to get an air current to cool off the room and it had been 29* degrees during the day. A fan would have made sleeping easier.
