Liked: Nice job preserving history! Thank you.Employees friendly and helpful. We had a small "apartmen", very cute and comfortable. comfortable bed, smooth sheets. it does have "old house" quirks, but don't all houses. It was a treat to stay there.
Disliked: I would have liked a kettle for hot water in the kitchen ,tea? And a plug for the tub.

Lovely and relaxing

Liked: The history, quaint, clean, awesome elevator. Great restaurant food. Love the fire in the lobby fireplace. The hotel allows dogs.
Disliked: The restaurant booth seats need repair.

Would stay again!

Very good

Liked: Overall one of the best value for money hotels I've stayed in -- I will be back! Really cool place -- I loved the snippets from the journals of past hotel employees on the walls.
Disliked: We couldn't turn off the radiator!!! We turned the knob clockwise to shut it (and then the other way just in case it was on backwards) but nothing we did lowered the temp. It made it really hard to sleep. I'm assuming it was just an isolated problem.

This is a wonderful hotel...

Liked: The hotel was comfortable. The staff were helpful! The room was nice and perfect for me. I liked having the restaurant available on the ground floor. The food was superb and the staff was kind.
Disliked: No problems for me.

Would stay again for sure

Liked: Lobby was pretty and cozy for Christmas. Staff was friendly. Enjoyed the old building. The restaurant was good. Great location and I liked hearing the trains go by.
