Exceptional

Overall excellent stay!

Liked: The gentleman at the desk was so friendly and welcoming! The room was excellent. Very clean and comfortable.
Disliked: The breakfast didn’t start until 7am, which I think is late. We were there for a volleyball tournament that started at 7, so we had to go elsewhere for breakfast that morning. I guess it didn’t really matter because the breakfast looked horrible. The second morning we were able to try the breakfast. The hot choices were taco meat, some sort of white chunky stuff (still have no idea what it was) and precooked sausages. There were many carb based choices, but that doesn’t work for a diabetic diet. Honestly, it looked so bad, we chose to leave the property and pay for breakfast. That was a big disappointment. I expected it to be a good breakfast because everything else in the hotel was amazing. When we were checking out in the morning I asked the lady at the front desk for a receipt. She said she could not give me one because I “booked through a 3rd party”. I asked if I could at least have the total I would be charged. She said no. I’d have to get that from Booking.com. I stay in many hotels and that has never happened before.
