Clean, well-located hotel with solid...
Liked: We were honestly quite skeptical at first because of the 3.5* rating on Google, but in the end if you just need a place to sleep, this hotel does the job really well. Great value for money, especially considering the location it’s just a side street off Times Square. The hotel and our room were clean and well equipped, we booked a studio with a queen bed, and the room was a good size. It had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, which was super handy. Breakfast was decent with a relatively good variety. Staff were friendly and cleaning was done every other day. We paid a $700 security deposit for a 7 night stay, which was refunded to our account within a few days.
Disliked: The only downside was the elevator situation during peak times, it was almost impossible to catch one from our floor to the lobby. A few times we gave up and walked down from the 17th floor but not a huge deal.

A clean, comfortable choice within...
Liked: The room was compact but not cramped, nicely equipped with a coffeemaker, fridge and microwave, and was surprisingly quiet for a very busy hotel in an inner-city location. The bed was comfortable, and an extra pillow thoughtfully provided in the wardrobe. Plenty of room in the bathroom for 2-person toiletries, and a reasonable amount of hangers in the wardrobe. Decent lighting throughout, and all was very clean. Every-other-day housekeeping was just fine for us. Breakfast had an impressive amount of options, and coffee/tea was available in the lobby 24/7. Luggage holding for early arrivals and after check-out guests was free. Rooftop bar was expensive but fun with a nice after-dark view; just wish it has been open before 6:00 PM. Pleasant staff.
Disliked: The elevator situation is pretty bad. During check-in, check-out and breakfast hours you can wait 20 minutes or even longer for one that either isn't full or stops at your floor at all: the biggest negative for this property. As this is a 'combo' hotel of both Home2 suites and Hampton Inn, the breakfast area is overrun during prime time. Get there EARLY! The rooms are advertised to accommodate 3 - they have pull-out loveseats for the 3rd - but I wouldn't advise it as, once unfolded, there'd be very, very limited walking space in the room. As it was, we had difficulty storing our two 24" suitcases. Ended up with one, closed and on end, in the wardrobe and the other on the desk.
