Liked: It was clean; the rooms were very space friendly, convenient and clean. The services were great and staff polite. Breakfast was really good as well. I will definitely be recommending.
Disliked: Nothing I can think of.

The room was comfortable and for the price, I probably got what I should have expected. Loud bass music woke us up earlier than we wanted to be woken up and the hotel was not in what I would consider a safe neighborhood. I was not comfortable walking downtown in the area the hotel was in at all.

Liked: Bed was comfortable and it was good to have a kitchenette.
Disliked: Loud; not a great neighborhood to walk around in.

For $850 for two day...

Liked: Clean room.
Disliked: Although our room was big and clean there were three problems that ruined our stay. First the smallest issue: after traveling all day, I went to take a shower. There was no shower gel in the bathroom so I had to call housekeeping. The second issue was that this is the first hotel that I have ever been to where there was no turndown service each day. It appears that there might be a sticker on the mirror in the bathroom which my wife and I did not see that says you have to request this service. When we checked in there was no mention of this. So after a day of being in the sun at the football game and Downs after dark, I had to go to the front desk at like midnight to get fresh towels. The biggest issue with the room, which made it very uncomfortable was the air conditioning did not work to the point where our room was over 76° at one point. After coming back to the room on our first night from being out, I had to go to the front desk, step away from the group of people I was there with, and wait for the maintenance guy to be called. It took probably an hour plus for him to arrive, he went and looked at the unit which was iced over and filthy. He tried cleaning it, but it was terrible. It didn’t work and he said it is going to have to be replaced. When he came back I had to help him physically take the air conditioning unit out of the wall and put the new one in. both units had dusk and filth all over it. If it was not for him, we would’ve been able to even sleep in the room. I would expect for $850 for two days to get my room turned down and I have an air conditioning that works and for another staff member to help change it out instead of the guest. Removal of the air conditioning unit was a two person job.

Liked: Great basic hotel! There was a parking lot available, but street parking in front of the hotel was also free, really handy!The neighboorhood is great, right at the start of NuLu, loved it!

Liked: The water was hot
Disliked: The room was not cleaned upon check in and when my wife mentioned this was brought cleaning supplies. The sheets had makeup and hairs all in them so we had to get new sheets and the housekeeping supervisor who came in to inspect the room was very embarrassed that the room was missed. My wife works in housekeeping and was appalled. The ac on the entire floor was not working so the hallway was 82 degrees during an excessive heat warning and again didn’t feel the need to move us to a floor with air conditioning.

Disliked: Breakfast was minimal. One of the female staff in the kitchen was extremely loud and telling off another employee. Could be heard throughout the entire lobby. Parking was also $20 a night.
