Good

Shabby but not chic -...

Liked: Friendly staff in good location with decent breakfast and restaurant.
Disliked: The room was meant to have a makeover but was horrendous. We didn't arrive till 2am and on entering room noticed odd smell. It was late and we were tired so just decided to open the window and settle down. But then realised it was paint and the smell seemed to get stronger. The carpet looked 50 years old, old fashioned and heavily stained with all colours; black, white yellow and green!The furniture seemed to have just been painted and dressing unit is falling apart. Plumbing leaves a lot to be desired as if you use the bathroom there's a long squealing sound afterwards. Being on a busy road meant we were awake from around 6am due to the window having to remain open. The.curtains were new as you could still see the packing lines but were cheap and lightweight so no blackout at all.Mattresses uncomfortable and need replqcing. Definitely will not stay again, which is a real shame - shabby but not chic!!

Nice little stop in Wrexham

Liked: Staff were nice, hotel looked modern and spacious. Pub and restaurant area were nice.
Disliked: Rooms were alright, looked a tiny bit dated but functional and clean.

Excellent stay and great breakfast

Liked: Location excellent , very good breakfast.Double room only had 1 chair which was awkward with two people in room. An extra chair would have neen nice as there was a space for a chair.Would definately use again.
Disliked: Extra chair in room
