Hollywood Volume a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Liked: Unique atmosphere. Great lobby design.
Disliked: Loud bar music until after midnight. Not receiving email with my checkout bill?

Very convenient location and comfortable...

Liked: Location was absolutely perfect, walking distance to Hollywood Boulevard, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. After a long flight from Australia our room was ready. The lovely man at reception gave us a room away from any music etc. Bed comfy. Room was very clean. It was overall a comfortable stay.
Disliked: Room was very very small. No fridge, limited food options. Having said that we were only there 3 nights, lots of restaurants close by to eat at.

Liked: Really cool hotel. Loved the lobby/cafe area, a beautiful rooftop bar and great food on site. Lots of extras provided by the hotel which was a lovely touch.

Stay was ok but not...

Liked: I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times before, the room and the service was as it has been previously. Reception staff were nice and the cleaners serviced the room everyday which I don't think was the case previously.
Disliked: Before when I stayed guests were able to use the main lift to go to the rooftop bar but this wasn't the case this time, even hotel guests have to queue outside with everyone else and the staff were pretty rude. My friend was coming to meet me at my hotel and the doorman wouldn't even let her in to the lobby to wait for me.

Liked: Location is excellent as it's close to the Hollywood Palladium and easily walkable to / from the venue. Staff at check in was very helpful and attentive (looking at you, Christopher). Nicely appointed room, perfect for a short stay.
