Nice location nice hotel for...

Liked: Nice and friendly staff, Not very helpful at times but they can’t be happy everyday

Liked: The parking option is a must in Los Angeles and the hotel is well located, not too far from Hollywood Main Street and the area seems to be safe.
Disliked: The room was small and the street in front of the hotel has a heavy traffic. The noise from it can be heard during the all night.

Liked: Shower screen door did not close.No restroom facilities on the ground floor No kettle or hot water to make teaBakery next door was excellent and the restaurant bar down stairs had excellent food and good vibe.

A decent place in LA

Liked: The hotel looks quite nice and is located in a peaceful neighborhood. The room matched the pictures with a comfy bed and decent storage space. Parking was available behind the hotel for $18/night; it is shared with the adjacent restaurant (the Edmon) and while availability can be short in the evening, there is valet parking. There was no breakfast, but the cafe around the corner makes excellent pastries and coffee, so that was a great option.
Disliked: The hotel does not have central AC and our room was equipped with a window unit, which means that the sound insulation was pretty much non existent. Since our room was facing the main street, it was incredibly noisy, even through the night. The fridge additionally loudly vibrated at random times.The Wifi also had serious issues on our second evening there across multiple devices (tablets, laptops) - we sometimes could not enter the password (there was no option), or there was no Internet despite being connected. We managed to fix it everywhere, but this was unnecessary trouble.While the staff at the counter was friendly enough, the valets at the parking clearly did not care much for hotel guests compared to restaurant customers. We were not expecting a red carpet treatment, but feeling like second class customers was not a pleasant welcome.
