Hollywood Hills Hotel

Disappointing

Disliked: I stayed at the Hollywood Hills Hotel for two nights and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Check-in is officially at 4 PM, but due to technical issues, I didn’t receive my electronic key until 9 PM. There’s no front desk on-site, so everything is done through phone contact — and even that was frustrating. I arrived at 7 PM and spent over 30 minutes trying to get in, with unanswered calls and multiple failed attempts to open the doors remotely.During the stay, there was no room service at all. I was left with just two coffee pods and one roll of toilet paper for the entire visit. There’s also nowhere on the property to get coffee, drinks, or snacks, which makes it very inconvenient.The pool was closed — in the middle of summer — and the overall condition of the hotel does not match the photos online. Hallways are old and dirty, and the room was far from clean or welcoming.The only redeeming quality is the stunning view, which honestly deserves a much better hotel to go with it.Would not stay here again or recommend it unless the hotel makes serious improvements in service, cleanliness, and communication.

Unbeatable location, ask questions before...

Liked: Bed was comfy. Great location
Disliked: The pool was closed for maintenance. This should have been disclosed considering the price, the floor was dirty. Even though the discrption of the room we booked clearly stated landmark view with the Hollywood sign in the picture it was not visible from our room. No patio as described

Relaxing and comfortable

Liked: The view. I’ve stayed here before but never on the 5th floor, it was pretty nice. I enjoyed.
Disliked: It was kind of hard to get in contact with someone quickly when I had a question or concern about something. They did respond just not in a timely manner.

Would definitely stay again!

Liked: Bed was HUGE and sooo comfortable! The view was incredible. Great walking distance to Hollywood Bowl.
Disliked: tub faucet/shower head needs to be checked. was not functioning properly and made water pressure low.

Bad

Liked: Location, Location, Location. Staff was quick to respond.
Disliked: Dated. Minimum furnishings. Needs a complete makeover . The couch should have been put out years ago. We didn't dare sit on it. Had to bring in the patio chairs. I rarely write reviews but this place definitely needed one. Very disappointed. Maybe it was just my room.....Also, there's a remote for the A/C. Good luck with that. It was stuck on 76.
