Holiday Inn Virginia Beach - Norfolk by IHG

People were great but the rooms were lacking. No phone, poor lighting, not enough outlets, outdated.

Liked: People at front desk were awesome!
Disliked: Not clean linens; hot A/C not working; phone did not work; not enough outlets for electronics.

Overall our stay was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice except for the carpet. The bathroom looked newly renovated and the beds were comfortable. They have a bar at the hotel.

Liked: It was close to the concert venue and they had a bar and restaurant.
Disliked: The carpet was very old and worn and had stains.

I really enjoyed my stay here because the room was very clean and modern. The motel had plenty of sitting areas to accommodate the guests, and the staff assisted me with all my needs very quickly. The breakfast was great. I will stay here again and recommend others to stay here when they are on vacation.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I was visiting from Philadelphia to see a Bruce Springsteen concert. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and a nice place to stay for a reasonable price. It is located closely to Farm Bureau Live, which is where the concert took place.

Disliked: Was told I would receive a call when I could check in early and never got it and when we finally got our room we didn’t have any towels. Had to go and request them and wait for them to bring them because they weee out of towels

Good hotel, poor management

Liked: Comfortable room, very clean
Disliked: Pool was closed but it was almost 90 degrees. Front desk said we could use the lounge chairs. After an hour or so the manager came and told us we couldn't sit by the pool since it wasn't opened yet - even though we weren't using the pool.
