Liked: The lady at the front desk was nice, it was nice to have convenient parking and no extra fee for a pet and the restaurant Margarita adjacent to the hotel was good. The actual beds were not bad.
Disliked: I was not expecting luxury and I am not one to complain easily, but I was quite disappointed with Holiday Inn Salem by IHG. The hotel was outdated and room had a musty, moldy smell. We walked in to the sofa bed not made despite booking the room for 4. We did quickly get linens from the front desk and made the bed ourselves. I had called the hotel in advance to make sure the sofa bed in the 4-person suite is suitable for grown ups to sleep in and was told it is. It turned out it was not. On top of sinking through the springs of the sofa bed the noise from the hallway kept us up all night. All in all, our stay was a part of a road trip and this night was easily the worst but also easily the most expensive.

Disliked: No hot water on the last day. Temperature of the pool and the hot tub not up to standards.

Liked: Check in staff, room nice and warm on a cold night,hot water in bathroom and shower. Fitness room and pool

Disliked: One of the elevators wasn’t working . The temperature of the hot tub was bad plus the Jets didn’t work correctly . There was no hot water on the last day of our stay !
