Holiday Inn Omaha Downtown Waterpark By IHG

wasn't a great experience

Liked: staff seemed annoyed to help. Put on hold for several minutes
Disliked: the pool was dirty and gross, definitely needed to be cleaned. The room smelled terrible and had sticky floors.

Passable

Liked: The room was nice and the restaurant staff were very polite.
Disliked: They where other guests that weren't following safety regulations while we stayed. We went to the water park and there was a family with four children with parents who were irresponsible. And they were misusing the fact that there was no lifeguard, going down over and over again right after each other.almost crashing into other guests as well following close behind.

Great experience. Only downfall was...

Liked: Many food choices and friendly staff. I wish it would have been included in the stay.
Disliked: Include in hotel price, please.

Bad

5 star location, waterpark is...

Liked: This is very close to the home of the college world series, which is only a block or so away. It was cool that the College softball world series was going on at the sametime.
Disliked: What they call a water park was 1 slide, 1 regular pool, and a small hot tub, oh and a little playground for kids. Definitely a lot to be desired. The food there was extremely over priced and frankly wasn't very good.

Omaha

Liked: The water park and the big king size bed
Disliked: The parking and that they were doing maintenance on the elevator and the water park had maintenance issues

Fair

Liked: Breakfast was horrible..hardly any food left..food was old, and it was $50 for very little food
Disliked: Dirty bed sheets, elevator and muggy smell. Air conditioner rattled

Good

Superb

Liked: Great hotel, pool was perfect for the kids!
Disliked: Only complaint was change machine at arcade was not working and therefore could not spend my money on the games for the kids! Staff did not have change to give either.
