Excellent Hotel and Location
Liked: Excellent Customer Service from arrival, Reception Team very helpful and friendly.Five Star service from 'Steph' in the Breakfast Dining Room, excellent customer service, very friendly and attentive. Steph's attention to detail was excellent and my husband and I thank you very much Steph for your brilliant service.Plenty of car parking space.Great location.
Disliked: The bathroom was tiny (but doable) and the bath whilst showering was extremely slippy as there wasn't a bath mat etc.

Great hotel for CO-OP Live...
Liked: Breakfast was very nice, and all the employees we had interactions with on site were lovely and helpful. The hotel was clean and the room was nice and quiet.
Disliked: The day before our visit, the Reservations Manager left an answer phone message to me + said my room is to be cancelled without something I cannot remember. I called back and it took 7 minutes to get to the bottom of what the purpose was of the phone call was. In the end it was a call to ask that our card details were up to date on our booking.com account to secure the room. However, in the midst of the conversation, the Reservations Manager made several comments such as, the hotel is over booked, the reservation does not guarantee the room bookings, if there was an issue they would find alternative accommodation for us along with a myriad of different things. He talked over me also. I have booked via booking.com and paid on a arrival a few times at different Holiday Inn properties and have never experienced this. In the end it was broken down to that the card needed to be valid the night before our stay to ensure our booking is secured. Which the card was fine on file and this whole very stressful process could have been avoided. A simple email or text reminder would have been sufficient. I even said on the phone that the whole ordeal gave me extreme anxiety as I was given the impression originally that my booking was cancelled less than 24 hours before our arrival with my very pregnant sister. Had the Reservations Manager just emailed or texted a clear and concise message there would not have been any stress at all.
