Holiday Inn London Camden Lock

Good hotel; good location; great staff and friendly welcome, but everything good was completely overshadowed by only being able to get wifi in your room if you pay £12. The room cost enough as it is, and paying for something that you get for free pretty much everywhere else in Camden is frankly greedy.

Perfect location but lack of...

Liked: Great location, majority of staff excellent, super breakfast. Comfy beds
Disliked: No AC in bedroom, allegedly due to renovation work being done, was aware of potential noise disruption but not that AC would be affected, we were provided a fan which was useless on one of the hottest days of the year. As such over £300 a night was not value for money when you couldn’t sleep

Superb

Could have been better. Should...

Liked: Everything was clean and tidy. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice of food and drink.
Disliked: The room was very hot and stuffy. The airconditioning did not work and there was only a portable electric fan.In the morning, there was no hot water in the bathroom.

Liked: The staff were very friendly.
Disliked: No Aircon on very hot day. Limited room service and had to go to reception to pay before 12 they could not just on bill. No offer to comp drinks for this.
