Holiday Inn - Leicester - Wigston

Room clean and functional. Everything worked. Bed not that comfortable. Mattress felt 'well used'.

Liked: Very friendly receptionist who sorted it all out.
Disliked: No record of booking upon arrival at hotel.

Liked: Location was good, the space was up to date and everything requested was ready in our room on arrival.
Disliked: The cleanliness needs a little work, we found dust, hair, items left from previous guests and the sink in the bathroom did not drain well at all causing a build up of grimy water from the drain, the hairdryer also cut out and smelled like burnt hair due to a clump of hair in the back of it

Liked: Staff were friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable with ample space. Restaurant offered a fair range of food options. Breakfast choices were plentiful and the quality was great.
Disliked: Perhaps a greater choice of food in the restaurant for evening meals.

Overall not too bad but...

Liked: The food in the restaurant was very good. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was modern . Room was serviced daily and towels were changed if required. Good tea and coffee duplex.
Disliked: Pity the bed was so close to the window that there was not enough room to access the bed easily! The curtain was off the rail in places and therefore did not close properly allowing the light from the car park to penetrate the room!
