Holiday Inn - Leicester - Wigston

Room clean and functional. Everything worked. Bed not that comfortable. Mattress felt 'well used'.

Liked: Very friendly receptionist who sorted it all out.
Disliked: No record of booking upon arrival at hotel.

Liked: Excellent staff. Very helpful, very friendly. On site parking. Quiet room on first floor with view over a park. Easy access to Leicester, with bus stop nearby if needed. Will stay again.

Disliked: Forgot to order breakfast ,because if this breakfast cost 16 pounds ,as apposed to 12 .but the lady running breakfast service was superb at her job ,10/10 .give her a raise.

Hotel mostly booked by the...

Disliked: 50% of the occupancy seems to be rooms rented by the council to accommodate people waiting for a more permanent location. Think, young couples with a toddler in a twin room. It just doesn't work for anyone involved. Add to that the social workers meeting with 'guests' over breakfast and you get the picture of the vibe of the place. Sign of the times I guess, but I won't stay again.

Overpriced and stressful

Liked: Nothing of note.
Disliked: A wedding being held and a guest arrested at 5pm as we arrived.Wedding guests taking over the bar/lounge despite having z function room.Kids running crazy.Draft drinks not being available. Items running out at breakfast ant not being replaced.Definitely not worth £160+ to stay three.

Disliked: Bed was small not a large double bed probably king size but definitely not super king size
