Modern, clean and great value...
Liked: Lovely modern and clean hotel, great location only short walk to city centre and surprising very quiet considering it’s located on a busy roundabout. Smart bar and restaurant aswell, great value for money, would stay again.
Disliked: Cold water tap kept going warm, but was manageable for one night.

Lovely hotel and staff but...
Liked: Staff were lovely. Rooms very spacious and comfortable and clean. Meal and breakfast were very good.
Disliked: The parking for the hotel was a good distance away even though there was an NCP next door. That NCP charged £22 a night, whereas the hotel one which was a fair walk was only £6.Located on busy roundabout. Could hear constant traffic.Room had adjoining door to next room. Unfortunately a family arrived at 1030pm and were screaming and banging the adjoining door. The parents did not stop them. Eventually after leaving them get over their excitement I had to ask them to quieten down. The family not the issue of the hotel but the one adjoining door made it feel like they were in the same room and offered no buffer for noise.

Nice room and comfortable bed...
Liked: Was lovely room, bed was comfy and had a bath as requested.
Disliked: Pillows were super uncomfortable. Tv was supposed to google chrome cast, ours didn’t work so member of staff came up to help. He spent 30 minutes turning the tv on and off again and making us try the same thing. His colleagues then rang him to say it’s not going to work and he needs to come down. He said “will need to watch normal tv for tonight I’m afraid” then walked out. Then the next morning when the lady at reception (sure was same lady who rang the member last night) asked how our stay was and my partner mentioned the tv casting and was told because everyone was streaming it as the hotel was full which shouldn’t be happening so they’ve contacted maintenance. This was really disappointing as we felt it was on we’ll just watch normal tv. We have 2 very young children and this wasn’t just a drop stop it was a night away and the hotel was suppose to be a comfy and relaxing time casting out programmes in peace for our anniversary after our day out… we planned to be in the hotel for a decent amount of time. We paid £108 for this hotel room and one of the main reasons we picked it was for the casting on the tv as we knew we wanted to relax watching our programmes. We were only staying one night so the member of staff saying “might need to fix it tomorrow” it wasn’t good enough as we weren’t there tomorrow. All good saying it’s because everyone was streaming but it wasn’t acceptable as it ruined our hotel experience.Don’t think we’ll be using this hotel again unfortunately. Staff were pleasant enough but unhappy of how the casting was dealt with and the “will need to watch normal tv for tonight I’m afraid” comment as was a big tough luck basically.
