Very comfortable bed enjoyed my...

Liked: Dog friendly hotel.I was allocated a ground floor room as requested because I had a dog with me.Plenty of grass where I could walk the dog. Comfortable bed. I was able to adjust the room temperature to suit.
Disliked: It was extremely hot in the rooms and corridors which I found uncomfortable.Unable to change the TV channel from a sales channel

Liked: The property was lovely and clean and great location . The staff from reception to catering staff and everyone we met thoroughly looked after me and my Dad . We drove a long way (7hours) from Aberdeen to go to the Leeds match and were made to feel very welcome by all the staff especially Mel one of the managers , she was amazing and constantly checking up on us . Made the place feel like home .

Perfect stay, minus bar issue.

Liked: Everything was better than we expected. Lovely inviting decor, rooms, and the best breakfast we've had at a holiday Inn.
Disliked: The only thing that spoilt it , was my partner had to wait around 25 minutes to get served at the bar . It was a Saturday night , but no one else was waiting . It seemed the staff had disappeared,weather on a break it still was left unmanned.. Also , the drinks were pricey, I know this is more expected from a hotel, but £3.60 for half of magners cider. ?

Liked: The hotel is in a good location
Disliked: I was allocated a room of which when my friend and I were greeted by this smell immediately we entered. Upon checking, we figured out this offensive smell was coming from the bathroom. Am not a plumber but could tell the smell had to do with the sewer system since. the bathroom appeared clean. My friend and I tried to bear the smell until we couldn't anymore. We decided to inform the receptionist who did not even bother to go and check, but immediately gave us another room. That appeared to us as the hotel knew that room had that problem. But why allocate such a room to us ? My friend and I were very disappointed despite being given an alternative room
