Disliked: Staff were extremely uncooperative and unresponsive.A phone call to front desk consistently took 20+ rings before an answer no matter what time of day. Ask a question and the answer was?no? or ?I don?t know.? Are you a Holiday Inn Platinum Elite member? They don?t care; no benefits to you for that. I will never stay here again and the hotel should be stripped of affiliation from the Holiday Inn chain!!!

It was serviceable but we...
Liked: The hotel was clean, our room was ok, the bed was comfortable, quiet in the hotel even though there were many visitors, staff was ok but not outstanding, Nice view out the 12th floor window. We didn't feel comfortable going out at night but it might have been just fine. Metro outside the door, buses near by.
The Hamburger Restaurant within the hotel was the best thing going. The food was delicious and a fair price for a city restaurant. Food was hot, prompt. Margaritas were good and there is a happy hour for those who enjoy. We had 2 breakfasts, and three dinners there and enjoyed them all. The chef cooks regular breakfasts to order as well as the $15 continental breakfast offered. By far the food you choose is a better deal and well prepared. We recommend it. Restaurant staff was friendly and very helpful.
Disliked: We had requested two queen beds, both in the original reservation and later, upon reviewing and discovering it wasn't listed as such. I sent a message about a week ahead of time to verify the bed situation and the hotel never responded at all. Upon arrival we were assigned a king size bed and told that because we had booked through Booking .com we weren't guaranteed we'd receive our request and that they didn't have anything else for us. We are an elderly Mother and senior Daughter. It was awkward but we made do. No choice. We had a problem with a broken pipe in the hotel one morning. The only water to come out of the sink tap, or the shower was steaming hot. And I do mean steaming! You could not touch it and the room filled up with hot steam, and the water had black sediment in it. There was no cold water so no showers that morning. When reported earlier we were told it had affected the entire hotel and there had been many complaints. Nothing was offered to compensate anyone. Not even a "sorry". We had a problem with the shuttle service. First of all we were not aware the hotel offered shuttle service to our convention even though we had a lengthy conversation with the desk personal about how it was best to travel to the convention. It wasn't until two ladies in the lobby mentioned they were waiting for the hotel shuttle, did we learn about it! There was a lot of waiting for the shuttle to leave and MUCH confusion about where they would pick us up to return. We were told one place by the first driver and the pick up driver had a different location. The weather had turned bitter cold and it was miserable trying to find the van after waiting over an hour several different nights. No body seemed to care about good service.

Liked: Fresh, modern decor, cleanliness and proximity to convention center. Free shuttle service was an added bonus.

Hotel nice, but restaurant/bar closed
Disliked: The thing we didn?t like was that after we got back to the hotel after the concert the bar was closed. They had just randomly closed it because there weren?t many people in there.

The accommodations served my purpose...
Liked: The valet staff and bellmen were very helpful and efficient.
Disliked: Room service came exactly at the time ordered, but my over medium eggs were barely over easy.
