Downtown gem is perfect for...

Liked: The staff were most accommodating and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. The shuttle drivers were professional and genuinely friendly, and engaged in conversation easily. They got me to the convention center and back promptly and made every trip a pleasure.
Disliked: Using refillable soap and shampoo dispensers is a good first step toward sustainability, but I always cringe when I see those insidious coffee pods and other single use plastics. There are better ways to provide coffee that are as easy and more environmentally conscious.The property provided breakfast, but the dining facility was not open for lunch or dinner. Perhaps this was only temporary, but the dust on unused bar fixtures and menus suggested that it has not been open for some time. My lunches and dinners were at eateries next to the convention center, but I can imagine that not having an on-site restaurant would be a problem for many guests.
