Holiday Inn Houston Downtown by IHG

Nice hotel. Very clean. Close to all the amenities downtown.

I would definitely stay here...

Liked: The property was very close to downtown! They offer a shuttle that takes you 1.5 miles from the hotel which covers a good chunk of downtown. The staff was very nice and friendly. The hotel is also close to a metro stop which is great to take advantage of. Our refrigerator was not working the day we checked in and I let the staff know about this and they shortly had someone come with a new working fridge.
Disliked: No complaints. I would stay here again!

Disliked: The amenities charges.. if you're going to charge every room $25 amenity fees, why not just change the room rate?? 2 treadmills did not work and 1 elliptical.

Loved the cute towel animals!

Liked: Front desk agent at check in was friendly and informative. The room was very clean, large and comfortable. The beds were super cozy and the pillows were nice. There were very cute little animals made from towels and wash rags which put a smile on my face. Location was a short walk from the Toyota Center.
Disliked: The parking garage was a little cramped and looked creepy at night but they did have security.

Holiday inn experience

Liked: I really loved the location. The staff were helpful, I loved the snack bar by the reception and the security of the property. Housekeeping came daily throughout our stay.
Disliked: Breakfast lacked options but was good. Outside that nothing.
