Shabby Holiday Inn

Disliked: Room was damp from air con. Decor was dated and old. Needs a refurbishment. Arrived late and no staff at front desk. Room smelt damp and musty. Couldn't open blinds. Bath was marked with brown stains. The cost was far too high for what I deem to be a cheap motel.

Liked: At check in on April 11th, the front desk lady (i didn't catch her name) she was amazing! She cut up with us every time she seen us.

Liked: The bed was very comfortable and the room was big. The bathroom even had shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

Disliked: The first room we were assigned had not been cleaned. I had to drag all of our stuff back down the elevator. They did give us a breakfast voucher because of this. The second room we got smelled funky(not hotel room funky) the blow dryer was detached from the wall, there were stains on the bedding, there was a phone cord with no phone attached, after the second night stay I had to ask about turn down services which they said they forgot to tell me at check in that we would need to request it. I told them our trash was overflowing and we were out of towels. They handed me towels and gave me trash bags that ended up being the small size that are for the ice buckets. He told us to set the trash outside the door to be picked up and the guy wrote our room number down on his hand. When we checked out the next day the trash was still sitting outside our door. The room felt damp and the ac had a weird odor to it. Overall the stay was terrible especially for the price we paid to stay there for 3 nights. I'm a holiday inn rewards member and we always love to stay at Holiday inns but I was extremely disappointed and will never stay at this location again.
