Terrible experience for first time...

Liked: Location was close to places I wanted to visit
Disliked: Room was either ice cold or Sahara hot, bathtub didn’t drain while showering so I stood in 2 feet of water, beds were broke and hard as rock, metal poking through, ice machines didn’t work, only 2 elevators for 32 floors, breakfast was cold, hard and unappetizing, fruit was bad, juices and lemonade were watered down and bitter. Staff was no help and didn’t seem interested.

Liked: The staff were very helpful and attentive to our requests, always checking on us. Staff are all doing a great job in taking care of the guests.The welcome snacks is a welcome treat.Hot breakfast is good with enough choices.Location is walking distance to Times Square, train station and a lot of restaurants around the area.
Disliked: We stayed there for 5 nights and everyday we smell cigarette smoke. Some of the towels smell like cigarette smoke too.

Exceptional

Liked: I had the pleasure of meeting Touria Assahili during my recent stay at the Holiday Inn, and I must say she was absolutely outstanding. From the moment I arrived, Touria welcomed me with genuine warmth and professionalism that immediately made me feel at ease.She was incredibly helpful, always ready to assist with a friendly smile, whether it was providing local recommendations or ensuring a smooth check-in process. Her attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction truly stood out and made a significant difference in my overall experience.Touria is a true asset to the Holiday Inn team, and I sincerely appreciate the care and dedication she brings to her role. I would highly recommend this hotel, in no small part due to the excellent service provided by people like her.

It was convenient due to...

Liked: Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was reasonable
Disliked: Elevator waiting time was very long. I noticed during the stay that the bathtub was not cleaned properly and woke up with insect bites. Had to be moved to another room so came down from the 20th floor to the 8th floor. The level of noise significantly increased as a result which made it vey hard for me to get any sleep during the last two nightsI was told there was a deposit of $112 on the booking that will be refunded but that has not happened
