Liked: We were happy with our stay. The bed for Elizabeth was too firm for Todd was OK. We had appointments most morning, so we were out and came back around 2 pm or 3 pm. but one day we came back early and the room had not been refreshed, we went out to have lunch, then we came back and still had not been refreshed. We had to get up early the following morning so after a walk, we started to relax and then we heard a knock on the door about 4.30 pm or 5 pm with room service, we were tired so we said don't worry about today, but then the following days, again we came back and our room had not been refreshed - so we didn't bother with it all. We kept the room tidy anyways. The breakfast was good for us, the only thing for Elizabeth is that she doesn't like scramble eggs with milk or whatever other things are put on and the bacon was overcooked, but we found some pieces of bacon that were not too hard. We loved the yoghurts and fruits and the hot chocolate (we had to manage the sweetness and it was supersweet but we had to pour some then add hot milk to it. But these are just minor issues, we made do. We love the staff, especially at Reception - Maya :-) and others we did not catch their names. Todd said there could be more variety for the breakfast.

Liked: Breakfast and the day staff were great, the room has all the key elements to make for a comfortable stay. Cleanliness of the general areas (reception, lift and breakfast area) was great
Disliked: Given the amount of business that this particular branch gets from the company i work for i feel the issues at check in could have been handled more professionallyThe room i was in had a faulty fridge that kicked in and out every 20ish mins with a clunk loud enough to wake you, this does make sleeping a little tricky. There was also a half consumed bottle of water in the fridge from the previous guest. Slight concern at the black marks on the wall above the bed but the mold growing around the vent was more off putting. I did tell the morning staff, as i am very aware that if no one tells you - you dont know.

Liked: I have always had an amazing experience with any IHG venue I chose to stay, particularly the Holiday Inn venues. But this experience was extremely unpleasant.
Disliked: We arrived late the day of our arrival after travelling from Central West NSW to attend a family members funeral. At the time of booking, I requested two rooms, both with single beds. One for my elderly mother and her sister, and one for myself and son. When we arrived to our rooms and found both had only one double bed, I approached the reception desk. The staff member I spoke to advised that booking.com offer that option of two sperate beds BUT they can not always guarantee that is what you will get. The woman I spoke to at the desk was rude and had no intention what so ever to try and come up with a solution for us. I was happy enough to deal with one room with one bed. I even requested if there was a roll put bed or something we could put in the room for my mother and her sister, but it all just seemed too hard for her. No solution, no apology with empathy. We just had to make do. In which my 70 year old Aunt ended up sleeping on the hard floor. This is an experience I have never dealt with from this company as stated. And I am beyond dissapointed.

Liked: Room was spacious and clean . Lost an earrings so search under the bed and it was clean under the bed ( that is a good sign) Breakfast provide sufficient choices for everyone. Great location close to shopping centre and restaurants
