Holiday Inn Express & Suites Raleigh NE - Medical Ctr Area By IHG

Overall no complaints - the beds where a bit hard but that's just a matter of opinion. Would stay again if in the area.

Liked: Very clean; excellent staff.
Disliked: If I wanted to go towards downtown Raleigh I had to go down to the stop light and make a U-turn.

The room was nice; front desk staff was very friendly. The only problem we had was the smell of the room and the halls - it was a horrible smell!

Liked: Friendly.

One night, bed and shower....

Liked: The group I travel with really enjoyed breakfast!
Disliked: I was very disappointed because there wasn't carpet in my room, and without warning, And because the hotel was full no other rooms were available

Liked: Nice bed , nice pillows and good breakfast
Disliked: The smell in the building, the room had an off smell, and the laundry room smelled of sewage . The TV didn't work, and the ac unit wouldn't cut on

Liked: Close to Highway very convenient. Neighborhood wasn't the greatest
Disliked: The neighborhood and Construction in lobby a little noisy

Liked: Mostly clean, and staff was helpful, especially the lady running breakfast.
Disliked: Shower controls very finicky - I like hot showers, but not scalding hot. Dirty AC vents and filters. .. moldy. Parking lot - rear entrance closed off by a fence. Front entrance is very tight and heavy traffic on the road.POOL was closed and we didn't know until at check-in.

Liked: I didn’t stay there because during check in I was told the pool would be out of service my whole stay and that wouldn’t have worked with my kids
Disliked: Asked for a discount because the pool was out of order and didn’t get so I didn’t stay
